It's quiet. Too quiet. And even though the barrier seems to be down, there's still no sign of Snow White. That's probably ominous, and not in the good way, either. Perhaps you are all working together, but that doesn't mean that you will reach the end of your journey in a happily ever after... or will you?

It's not the entire hallway, thankfully. It's the area around the door, maybe a meter in perimeter. You wouldn't be able to enter or leave without touching it, but you could pass by it and enter one of the other apartments just fine.

More has spawned upstairs though, one of the apartments there seems completely submerged.

I see. I will keep track of this in my log. We should keep a close eye on it, should it spread even further.

I believe I will also take a look around town for more impurity in unexpected locations. I shouldn't have to tell you to watch your step in the meantime.

[Miach obviously did on the way out of her room, so she has that going for her in Szayel's eyes.]

No, if it gets inside, I'll go back to the Inn - provided that the impurity doesn't start appearing there as well, which I see no guarantee for.

Now that would certainly be unfortunate, wouldn't it? I haven't seen any around thus far, but I will keep you updated.
