That sure was an announcement, wasn't it? Of course, that's not the least of your problems, when it comes down to it. On Monday, there seems to be a mysterious figure that appears in the chatroom; their avatar seems to be glitched out and unrecognizable to the point where they look like complete static, head to toe. But soon enough, they send out a message for everyone to see. For those using voice, the voice seems to be monotone and completely unrecognizable as either male or female.

Can anybody see this post? I need to tell you guys something, ASAP!

I'll skip the whole talk about how we're not toys, and this isn't some sort of game, because let me guess, you really don't care.

Wow! Saying it like that sure is going to make me give your crap back. Not. I'll prolong giving someone back their stuff for as long as I want. I took away everyone's items, abilities and everything else they care and love because... you know. Makes things more interesting that way. Puts everyone on an even playing board.

All I hear is "blah blah you can't do anything without them". Cheeky little brats who can't stand on their own two feet without a crutch like their so-called partners are useless.

Ugh! You don't understand the bond between humans and Pokemon at all! And you shouldn't be calling them things!

I-I'm not useless! [She takes a deep breath and starts speaking, although some of it sounds like she's reciting something she's heard before.]

Our world is inhabited by creatures called Pokemon! They have all sorts of unique appearances and abilities, and can be found both wild and partnered to people! This partnership usually has to be voluntary, since wild Pokemon that want partners will look for people to battle. Sometimes there are misunderstandings, but these can be talked through! Humans and Pokemon work together on all sorts of tasks, especially ones that are too dangerous for humans alone! Many people become Pokemon trainers, seeking to battle the various gyms of a region and raise the best possible Pokemon team they can! But even those who aren't Trainers often have at least one Pokemon in their lives, to help with little things as well!
