You've lost two people within the last few days, and on Monday, even though Fav has made his announcement, the magical girl who dubbed herself as "Snow White" doesn't seem to make an appearance at all in the slightest this week, making the chatroom quieter and slightly more ominous for everyone. But that's fine. Everyone just has to pull themselves all together so that nobody dies again, right? Right.

[She nods quietly.] In stories, learning the future never goes well...

No, never. But the temptation is always overwhelming.

[She sighs, sounding distant, as if maybe she's only half speaking to Eliza.] Would it be worse to find out you get what you want or that you don't?

[telecosmetic]

I'm pretty sure it would be finding out you don't get what you want, right?

[selfloving]

I don't know if it's that easy. What if the things you wanted turn out to be bad in the end?

[telecosmetic]

...right. [She thinks back to her own selfish desire to get rid of Slinky.] And sometimes you won't know until it happens...so I guess the real worst thing is to learn that whatever you got or didn't get ended up having bad results...

[selfloving]

Maybe that's it. Then it becomes about those choices. Which one was wrong? Would this have happened from the start?

Well, you won't see my playing any of those games, either.

[telecosmetic]

[Eliza nods.] I think people already think about that a lot...we don't need a game to make us think about that kind of stuff even more.

[selfloving]

Yeah. [Even having somewhere to put the blame doesn't really dull it.]

That's surprisingly deep. You didn't strike me as someone with many regrets. [This sounds...kind of insulting? Her tone is definitely enamored with itself.]

[telecosmetic]

Well, um, I was thinking about some mean stuff I said, that the game showed me. But it also showed other things I could have said at that point. That's what I was mainly thinking about.

[selfloving]

Still on about that, I see. It was important to you.

Would you have chosen differently?

[telecosmetic]

Probably...I was really rude and unfair, and it made me and Slinky have a really bad relationship when we first started off...I apologized to her eventually, but it might have been better if we could have worked together from the start...

[selfloving]

You know, I'm sure it means something that she stayed with you, even after that. She could have turned on you then, but she didn't. That's loyalty.

[telecosmetic]

Well...she's my Pokemon. My starter Pokemon. They're supposed to be really loyal... [She pauses.] And we did kind of get into a fight, although neither of us were hurt bad. [She pauses again.] And...later on I met a boy whose relationship with his Pokemon was even worse.

[selfloving]

Oh?

[Love's voice shows her interest, prompting more. Fighting a little isn't enough to fracture a relationship. Her sisters do not always seem to love one another, but she knows this much.]

What happened to him?

[telecosmetic]

His Teddiursa...shattered his Pokeball, making himself wild again. And then he tried to attack his trainer. I had to have my own Pokemon attack him to stop him.

[selfloving]

So it was mistreated until it turned against its master, but you stepped in and tried to help.

To me, that seems very bold.

[telecosmetic]

[Eliza nods.] I still don't know the full story...that boy got mad about me attacking "his" Pokemon and ran away.

[selfloving]

He's a coward. You did what you could, that's all. Whatever the outcome, he'll learn better.

[telecosmetic]

I hope he does. I just wanted to help...
